The game featured the Winnipeg Jets™ and the Edmonton Oilers® in an outdoor regular season NHL® game at Investors Group Field. Additionally, legendary players from both the Jets and the Oilers took to the ice in the 2016 NHL Heritage Classic™ Alumni Game, on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Investors Group Field. The game showcased legendary superstars, including Dale Hawerchuk and Teemu Selanne, along with the Oilers’ Wayne Gretzky, and Mark Messier, celebrating the great history of hockey.
